Solutions Architect, Solutions, Architecture, IDAM, cloud, AWS, Azure, SME, Microsoft, Cancom, CGI, AD, SailPoint, LDAP, MS Identity Manager, Public Sector, Technical Design, Technical Solutions, MODAF, DODAF, TOGAF, Our central Government Client are looking for two Solutions Architects, for one role the candidate is required to have knowledge of IDAM systems, for the second role the candidate is required to have proven experience of designing and implementing IDAM systems. Role profile An Identity Access Management (IDAM) solution that includes but isn't limited to the following capabilities and services: User and resource registration and validation.User Access Management including Joiners, Movers and Leavers (JML).Derivation, implementation and enforcement of access policies.Management and monitoring of privilege access.Federated access.Master identity management.Manage and monitor user entitlements and activities.Single sign-on.Role management.Partner federation and management.Design and implement technical solutions (at all security classifications up to SECRET) that align to our clients architectural principles and standards.Deliver strategies, roadmaps, blueprints and design patterns for our clients architecture.Provide input and expertise into the creation of a governance model to ensure that solution elements of projects and technical architectures conform to defined architectural principles and practices.Deliver end to end solution architecture including design documentation including management, compute, storage, networking, application, data accounting, audit, security and reporting. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to solution architecture, and support wider programmes and projects;Liaise with projects and business representatives to design and implement solutions in line with the business requirements.Deliver solution design documents, and/or complete formal and informal review of design documents provided by others.Develop work packages for technical and engineering staff (internal and within the supply chain) to deliver the agreed design.Work with the team to deliver clear and cohesive architecture roadmaps.Assist in related technology discussions, with key external stakeholders and partners including but not limited to Microsoft, Cancom and CGI.Deliver high-quality artefacts and documentation to support design governance using System Design Reviews (SDR) aligned to the EASE (Enterprise Architecture System Engineering) framework.Submission of updates to the technical leadership team via standard reporting mechanisms.Knowledge, skills and experience.Proven experience of designing and implementing IDAM systems using, but not limited to the following technologies - AD, SailPoint, LDAP, MS Identity Manager.Ability to write architectural design documents, or review design documents provided by others.Must have a thorough knowledge of designing, implementing and integrating solutions in Microsoft and other mainstream OS environments including no longer supported versions.Experience within Secure Government organisations as a technical architect or solution architect.Experience in designing solutions for secure hybrid environments (Cloud and on premise).Experience in designing and delivering solutions within a number of cloud environments including but not limited to Azure and AWS.Excellent understanding of Government Security processes and procedures.Demonstrably strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. In-depth knowledge of architecture methodologies and frameworks and extensive experience of their application.Broad and up-to-date knowledge of IT capabilities and services including cloud computing, end user computing, on-premise hosting, identity and access management, virtualisation, application development and management, device management, mobility solutions, secure gateways and remote access, management infrastructure and cross-domain solutions.Experience of technical design and formal review of technical solutions.Experience of the effective adoption and implementation of IT standards and frameworks.Proven experience of supervision or first line management.Experienced in effective decision making.Experienced in technical architecture and design within planning and project work. Proven experience of developing design artefacts under a number of architecture frameworks e.g. MODAF, DODAF, TOGAF.
