A Public sector client of ours is currently looking for an IT Support officer for initially 3 months.

Location - Cambridge

Hourly Rate - £15

Duration - 3 months +

IR35 - Inside (Must Use Umbrella Company)

Work is mainly office based and providing support to IT users across the department. The role holder is the main provider of essential IT services, technical support and advice within the department. Responsible for maintaining the comprehensive IT and AV infrastructure within the Department to meet the teaching, research and administration needs of the staff within the department, interfacing effectively with NHS IT and externally

when needed.

Essential Skills

- To provide IT support for the organisation

- Generating purchase orders using finance system (iProcurement) for IT, research and office supplies

- Maintaining Office PC systems, AV, Network, support with data storage

- To update the website and publications databases when needed

- To assist in the setting up of equipment

- To provide basic admin support to the department when needed

Desired Skills

- Experience providing IT support

- User of UFS - iProcurement (desirable, but training will be provided)

- The ability to communicate with a range of professionals and service users

- Experience providing admin support

- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
