ShortList Recruitment are looking to recruit a Software Quality Assurance Tester for an industry leading software house based on the outskirts of Liverpool. The role will involve working closely with several teams across the business so effective communication is a must. The Software Quality Assurance Tester role will be responsible for managing test plans and ensuring software testing is done to company guidelines with high standards.

The Software Quality Assurance Tester role is mainly a manual tester position but any prior experience of automated test tools like Sahi, WAPT and Soap UI would be beneficial.

Essential skills for the Software Quality Assurance Tester:

Strong Testing experience using black and white box testing, Usability, User Acceptance, Integration and RegressionPerformance and Load testingExcellent communicationSQL KnowledgeAutomation (desirable)Agile/scrum backgroundThe Software Quality Assurance Tester role includes remote working and flexible hours.
