Application Architect - Central ReadingA market leading organisation based in Reading are recruiting an application architect. The company has increased its product base and they now need multi-channel development pipeline.
As an application architect, you will aid the current solutions architect with the day to day work load whilst providing their own ideas and strategies for the longevity of the applications.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop software solutions and strategy to meet the architectural goals and needs of a clientLiaise with programmers and software development team to design and implement an architectural systemDefine and implement application architecture for diverse business processes, projects, and functionUse tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired productHelp develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibilityHelp define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standardsEnsure proper documentation of software design and developing processes to produce appropriate procedures for application use
Essential Skills:
Knowledge working with Microservices architectureStrong fundamental quality driven software engineering skillsAgile knowledgeKnowledge of Relational or NoSQL database technologyAnalytical skills/System analysisKnowledge of one messaging technology using existing libraries, frameworks and RESTful APIs to create complex applications
Desirable Skills
Fluent in C# and .NETHTML/CSS/JavaScriptUI/UX DesignAzure knowledgeTOGAF
