Do you want to work for an award-winning, global leader in cyber security?A specialist cyber security organisation is looking to add multiple security operations analysts to their team. They work closely with leadership teams and the board to help organisations gain situational awareness around their current cyber security posture
The Role:
In the this role you will be responsible for developing new platforms, services and automation security-based tasks. You will sit in the SOC team and will also be involved in the continuous monitoring of SIEM and EDR platforms.
Role Responsibilities:Develop and build new platforms and services to ensure the SOC is at the front of Security OperationsEnsure code and scripts are developed to the highest security standardProvide support to internal stakeholders, whilst aiding the SOC in support external clients we provide products and services toSupervise all major development projectsEnsure our clients are protected against attacks by keeping up to date with all the latest security vulnerabilitiesBe responsible for documentation and code comments for new projects are completed to the highest standard
Required Kills:Strong background in IT SecurityGood Linux administrationScripting with open source contributions to security or Linux sysadmin tools using tools such as Python and PowerShell.Understanding of automation utilising vendor provided API's.Knowledge of industry trends and new developments in Security operations automation.
