Agile Business Analyst (Contract)

Business Analyst - Contract - 6 months - North West England. My client, a leading UK University, is looking for an experience Agile Business Analyst for an initial 6 month contract. You will ideally have a strong background working in the Digital space, and have successfully worked within an agile environment.

The University is primarily a .NET environment working towards a BDD/TDD & Continuous Delivery environment. You will be a keen self starter and able to establish communication with all the players involved to make the key connection between business and development.

You will have solid experience using Jira or DevOps and be able to translate the technical wants and asks into documented tasks that form the basis of work carried out in sprints. Experience of running stand-ups and sprint planning is a big advantage. As an Agile Business Analyst you would be the best placed to understand what work is currently being carried out by developers and what the backlog that flows into that comprises of.

An understanding of MS SQL or Oracle would be preferred, with a solid knowledge of analytics / BI / databases.

You must be able to demonstrate past experience in the above areas, funnelling in to an Agile workflow.

Experience in contributing to develop such an Agile environment would be an advantage.
