DevOps Engineer - Azure / TerraformOur global client, who have become genuine market leaders within their field is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team based in London, on a permanent basis. Furthermore, our client is a fun and inclusive place to work, as they regularly host social and sporting activities where everyone gets involved.The DevOps Engineer will ensure the technical implementation of designed solutions are strongly aligned with the core business strategy using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes. You will provide insights and strategic direction towards the adoption of the latest cloud technology and services focusing on PaaS, IaaS, IaC and containerization in the Azure cloud.Dev Ops Engineer - Key Skills:

•Experience with the following: Cloud Integration, Azure IaaS and Azure PaaS (experience of Oracle Cloud would be desirable)•Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes orchestration engines•Fluent with common orchestration languages including PowerShell, JSON, and HCL. Strong understanding of .NET and PHP is desirable•Ability to understand business requirements and translate these into solutions - working as part of the wider operations group•Experience working a part of a global team and achieving results through a combination of face-to-face working and remote working using a mix of telephony, video and collaboration tools•Pursue continuous improvements based on lessons learned and industry best practices. All processes include consideration for data integrity and data quality•Demonstrate solid business and organizational skills, and leadership in the use of cloud technologies

DevOps Engineer - Responsibilities:

•Creation of Azure DevOps deployment and release pipelines.•Subject matter expert and escalation point for Azure DevOps, Terraform and Kubernetes systems.•Work with engineering teams to create templates for the deployment of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)•Collaborate with application and development teams to create automated release solutions•Perform analysis of current environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement•Ensures solutions fit strategically in the overall infrastructure architecture and meet existing technology standards•Work with stakeholders to establish governance, ensuring infrastructure architecture standards are implemented successfully•Recommend solutions and collaborate with the operations teams to develop processes to implement changes•Research and design new infrastructure technologies, architectures and processes
