Financial Analyst/12 month contract/ Warwickshire/£200-~£300 per day

Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Clients within the Financial sector who are seeking to bring on to the team a financial Analyst to facilitate Business Partnering and Planning across the group by producing Financial and Management reports in accordance with regulations.

If you have experience working within a Finance Analyst role and have experience around month end reporting, journals, commentary, variance analysis and business planning then this may be a good fit for you

The overall role entails

Ensuring processes and controls are in place

Understand and operate to maintain robust processing environment and to protect financial data in line with internal and external governance requirements

Provide insight and analysis to the wider business enabling them to make informed decisions in line with the groups long term strategic objectives

Monitor, validate and maintain data and systems input and output in accordance with processes, procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensuring consistency and integrity of reporting, compliance with internal policies, controls and service level agreements (SLA's) and effective access and control of data.

Analyse, provide interpretation and investigate financial and management data, trends and queries to support timely decision making.

Anticipate, plan and forecast expenses, revenue and headcount information in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and the business to enable effective control and management of budgets and performance

Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the Department and Group Finance to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and representation of the Department.

Deliver short term/one off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with line manager
