Our Client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Data Services and Governance team in Dublin on a 12 month fixed-term contract. The Data Services and Governance team provide timely and accurate reference data services (client, inventory, security, SSI) aligned to strong Governance programs, to key stakeholders globally by designing robust, scalable and flexible infrastructure and process through strategic design aligned to our client's mandate of Simplification. Job Spec: General Competencies: Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervisionSolid knowledge of data governance / data management practices, enterprise data policy, standards & strategyCompetent in using computer applications including MS officeAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written formAbility to analyse, organise and prioritise work while meeting multiple deadlinesAbility to handle confidential information with discretionWork in partnership with other Operations teams to ensure any audit or regulatory findings are managed and cleared within the committed time-lineEnsure internal control processes are adequate and documented appropriatelyWillingness to participate in various initiatives and ad hoc requests that impact Global Operations and Business Services. Requirements: Essential:Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesEligibility to work in DublinDesirable: Strong understanding of the financial sectorStrong Microsoft Office skillsA 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant subject
