Excellent role on offer for an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join an expanding, market leading FMCG manufacturing company where you will have an opportunity to work on technically interesting projects and get trained on PLCs whilst working in a stable environment.

This market leading FMCG manufacturing company is part of a worldwide group that supplies to one of the largest blue chip companies in the world. They have recently expanding their site and installed a brand new production line and are therefore looking to recruit a maintenance engineer to complement their highly skilled team.

In this role you will be required to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a range of state of the art production machinery whilst working on a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern. You will have the opportunity to work on small project based work where you will be given the autonomy to run projects from start to finish as part of your development plan.

This role would ideally suit an experienced mechanically or electrically biased Engineer with an electrical qualification that is looking to become more of a specialist engineer and work for a forward thinking, stable company that can offer further training and development.

The Role:

* Electrical & Mechanical maintenance

* PPM and breakdown repair on a range of state of the art machinery

* Project work

* Training on PLCs

* Working a 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

* £37'000 + Overtime + Pension + 24 Days Holiday

The Person:

* Maintenance Engineer

* Apprentice trained in Mechanical or Electrical

* Must have an electrical qualification

* From an industrial / manufacturing background

* Excellent communication skills.
