Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance TechnicianLocation: BristolSalary: c. £24,000 per annumJob Type: Full time, PermanentThe Company:Located in the heart of Bristol's Harbourside, the company is one of the South-West's premier animal attractions.This iconic aquarium is home to around 4000 individual animals in over 40 displays, all situated on two floors and throughout a glasshouse showcasing a raised walkway which winds through an extensive botanical collection.Their Aquarium is part of worldwide leisure company, a Spanish multinational company with its headquarters based in Madrid. They and operates over 65 leisure attractions across Europe, 10 of which are located in the UK.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring continued operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirementsIdentify break down causes and repairing of machinery and equipmentMaintaining and repairing internal facilitiesControlling maintenance subcontractors both planned service visits and emergency attendanceEnsure systems, procedures and working practices in accordance with H&S regulations and company operating proceduresGeneral maintenance of site facilitiesAbout You:Be qualified to HNC/HND in a maintenance relevant subjectIdeally 17th/18th edition electrically trainedBe able to work effectively under own supervisionBe meticulous, neat and methodical in own workGood communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeBe enthusiastic, a team player and value working in this unique visitor attractionEnthusiastic and motivated to deliver and improve the service we provideGood physical health due to the nature of the maintenance/manual workApplicants must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.This is full time post working on a rota'd basis which includes regular weekends and bank holidays.Please click the APPLY button to send your CV and covering letter for this role.Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Engineer, Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technician, Service Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Repairs Engineer, EC&I Engineer may also be considered for this role.
