This company is one of the world's leading suppliers of high-quality static storage solutions, state of the art intra-logistics and automated material handling systems. The technology includes robotics and complex software solutions.

They are currently seeking an Application Support Technician for their brand new customer site in Leeds.

The IT Application Support Technician provides technical support for automated material handling software systems and equipment in warehouses and distribution centre using an array of technical tools to perform complex troubleshooting and problem solving.

You will be identifying and resolving issues with Warehouse Management Systems and Material flow systems.

You will be responsible on site for first line support to the customer and assisting the Engineering teams.

Within this role, you will also be creating documentation, reports and analysing reports.

To be successful in your application, you will have some previous experience of WMS and WFS, you will have knowledge of SQL databases and have a degree in computer science.

Experience with Java is desirable but not essential, you will be a proficient communicator and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
