We're recruiting two experienced Database Developers for our Battersea based healthcare tech client; one of the UK's largest developers of front- line clinical systems and solutions within the UK's health sector.  You'll be joining a dedicated core product development team focusing clinical messaging, data and OpenAPI services for their key healthcare customer base. About the role The team are responsible for the company's suite of highly functional and vital database services utilised by the clinical applications.  It's a role which will see you developing database services, analysing clinical data service requests and creating OpenAPI service definitions.
As the team are in the process of migrating to AWS, you'll also get the opportunity to work on a range of other AWS managed services and server-less tech.  
The team also share responsibility for managing the Scrum process, collaborating closely, leading and participating in meetings, stand ups and stakeholder engagement. What they're looking for.... You're an experienced Postgres Database Developer comfortable working in a fast paced and fluid environment, collaborating with your colleagues as well as other internal/external stakeholders. You have excellent communication skills and are a natural problem solver, possessing a high level of attention to detail.   Key skills/experience for this role include: Postgres / PostgreSQL development JSON PGTap Postman OpenAPI ?Java or similar coding knowledge If you also have experience in, or knowledge of, any of the following areas it would be really useful, but it's not essential: Agile Scrum; Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence; clinical data modelling or healthcare data systems What's on offer A competitive salary and a great range of company benefits, including matched pension, health cash plan and well-being allowance.
