Back End Java Developer, Azure, Rest, gRPC, GraphQL, Thrift, JSON-RPC, Linux, Azure, Docker, Java 8, Maven, Spring/Spring Boot, Junit, Mockito, MySQL, MSSQL, JavaScript, Angular 5, CSV, Health Government, Public Sector,Our client based in London are recruiting for a Back End Java Developer.Back End Java Developer using open source and cloud technologies such as:Azure cloud hosting Appreciation of APIs and complex systems integrations Standards such as REST, gRPC, GraphQL, Thrift and/or JSON-RPC and older alternatives of file transfersSource Control: GitHub Working 'Agile' (using Scrum) in a pair programming environmentA Back End Java Developer is required to deliver a bi-directional interfaceThis involves:Reviewing the viability of the existing one-way interfaceUsing knowledge and experience of both traditional and modern interfaces to come up with the optimal solution;Developing, deploying and ensuring the integrity of a microservice to transfer data to and from the TIS MySQL database;Documenting systems integration aspects, versioning and design with service evolution in mind; Potential development of a user interface (as directed by the outputs from the Business Analyst discovery work).Key Skills / ExperienceHave Linux, Azure, DockerHave Java 8, Maven, Spring/Spring BootHave Junit, MockitoHave MySQL, MSSQLGitExperience of an Agile/Scrum environmentTeaching, knowledge transfer and pair-programmingJIRA and Confluence experienceJavaScript experienceTypeScript experienceAngular 5+ experienceKnowledge of web services/REST, microservicesKnowledge of transfer of CSV dat files to and from an FTP server
