Infrastructure Architect, AWS, Cloud, datacenter, Architecture, Amazon Project:My client are seeking a Infrastructure/Cloud architect to join their growing architecture team with migrating and modernising existing complex business critical 3rd party solutions and datacenter to the cloud AWS.You will also provide architectural knowledge and experience to a wide range of projects, including our current drive to improve upcoming infrastructure focused projects.This will be a mixture of migrating some of the 3rd party hosting environment, internal systems, lift and shift, networks/servers and even re-platforming so would require an infrastructure architect who understands the key pressure points and has the ability to deliver.

The Role:Review current environment / requirement gatheringDesigning appropriate architecture, support and documenting the strategyLiaising with 3rd party hosting partnersWorking closely with business and understand the priorities for their environmentCapacity planning and business continuity Requirements:Technical Architectural experienceTechnical knowledge across full infrastructure from databases, load balancing, servers/storage to traditional networks etcCommercial experience in migrating datacenter to AWS CloudComfortable dealing with 3rd party providersSome of the tech on site currently: Linux, AWS, VMware, Windows, Network LAN/WAN.. This is a huge greenfield project and lends itself to an Architect with a traditional infrastructure background but with recent AWS Cloud technology experience.
