Mechanical Fitters - 6 Month Contract ( Ongoing ) - MontroseMy client is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for an initial 6 month contract based in Montrose. The role is full time on site, and the client can offer a competitive hourly rate. This will be on a 4x4 shift pattern. The role is working in an international industrial service company and one of the world's largest oil field services companies.Key Responsibilities:Fully participate in HSE Management Program and comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulationEnsure compliance in respective areas of control with all QHSE Management System requirements, policies and proceduresHave a competency in reading, understanding and interpreting engineering support documentationAssemble equipment based on customer sales order; complete assembly according to requirements and safety rules / regulations; complete assembly documentationTest equipment based on customer sales order; complete testing according to requirements and safety rules / regulations; complete testing documentationCheck routing for accuracy and review all procedures before beginning operationsWork within the strict labour hours cycle for operationsFlexible to transfer between working cells as required to meet business requirementsFive Fundamentals adherence and complianceDesired skills:Exposure to pressure testing up to 20KWorking at Heights certifiedMEWP (Cherry Picker) certifiedOverhead Gantry Crane certifiedExposure to Loler regulationsExposure to hand and hydraulic torqueing (1/2" to 2 ½")B1 fork lift certified
