About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Business Systems Analyst to help the business implement technology solutions in a cost effective way by determining the requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders including customers, developers and business partners.

As a Business Systems Analyst you will be entering a team of 5 other Business Analyst varying in seniority. Within this team you will be playing a significant part in facilitating change by providing analysis and support to customers and be responsible for leading projects through the full systems development lifecycle.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to hold a degree within an IT related discipline or be qualified by experience.

We would also like you to have all or some of the following:Excellent Analytical Skills with a strong technical backgroundComprehensive and practical experience of the full system development lifecycle - Waterfall, Agile etc.A good knowledge of SQLExperience of agile delivery, working in agile sprint format using epics, features and stories is desirableA solid understanding of software solution architectures

What else do I need to know?Flexible working opportunities are availableTravel between sites will be expected infrequently
