Java Developer UK Wide, Full Mobility requiredI am partnering up with one of our long term clients to aid with the recruitment of Software Engineers to work UK wide on client sites. They have offices located throughout the UK and offer excellent benefits packages alongside the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Digital/Cloud-based projects in both the public and private sectors.As for the role, you will typically act as a designer/developer on delivery engagements for clients with responsibility for the specification, development, unit testing and implementation of complex multi-tier applications. The role will be carried out at a wide variety of client sites depending on the current projects at hand. You will also be responsible for ensuring that projects deliver to time, cost and quality constraints.What you'll bring:Java - Excellent knowledge of Java along with core open source technologies and frameworks are essential accompanied with experience of building scalable, resilient application. Your expertise will be crucial for not only fulfilling, but exceed the expectations of the client. Certifications are a bonus, but tried and tested commercial experience is key.Multiple technology stacks - Demonstrable experience in one or more technology stack, e.g. Spring (Core, MVC, Integration, Data, Boot/cloud), JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, React,js, Node.js etc), Integration technologies (Spring Integration, REST, Apache Camel, Messaging).DevOps - Experience within a DevOps environment with good practical knowledge and awareness of the core concepts - including Continuous Delivery/Deployment using agile Configuration Management.JVM Language - Some experience with enthusiasm for another JVM language such as Scala, Groovy or JRuby is desirable.SC Security Clearance - You must hold SC Security clearance or be eligible for SC Security clearance.What you will receive:You will be working alongside some of the best, most inspiring engineers in the UK.
