Quality Engineer (Medical Equipment) Warrington £45,000Huxley Engineering and one of Europe's leading names in Complex Engineered Equipment for the Medical Industry are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for their Warrington site, to increase product quality and to help embed a "First Time Right" strategic approach to Quality Control / Quality Engineering.Based in the Warrington area, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:Product Quality: Analysis of faults & issues on end / returned equipment and faulty components from suppliersSupplier Development: Drive supplier quality to minimise component failuresTest Protocols: Develop enhanced test protocols for both In-House & Supplier useKPI Creation & Management: Develop Quality KPIs & action plans to help improve product qualityLine & 3rdParty Audits: Production Process & Responsibility for ISO13485, FDA, MHRA & H&S external auditsRequirements for Quality Engineer role:Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)Prior experience of working as Quality Engineer within a high-regulation Engineering Production / Manufacturing / Assembly Industry (Aerospace, Medical, Automotive etc)Project management experience, working with multidisciplinary teams across the organisation and third party contractorsSelf-motivated, able to proactively address Root Cause Issues and working as Quality Engineering lead.Problem solver: Able to analyse and understand complex issues in medical device performance, produce clear concise documentation and adhere to project schedulesFor the successful Quality Engineer, a salary up to £45,000 is on offer and this Quality Engineer role is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Preston, Warrington, Liverpool, Runcorn, St Helens, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Widnes, Salford, Leigh, Atherton & Ormskirk.
