Business Analyst - Service Re - Design - East London - Permanent - £35k - £40k Per Annum.

The Company

A government body based in the East London area, seeks an experienced Business Analyst within Service Re-Design, to join them at a very exciting tome of change.

The Role

This position will work with colleagues in the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence team to identify and solve problems within the business using insight from data and predictive analytics, and ensure that financial savings and service improvements are realised.

Responsibilities

*You will work with senior colleagues including directors and service leads to identify the key challenges and problems that they face in delivering best-value services to our residents

*You will identify the points where data can make a difference by conducting business process mapping activities; conducting requirements gathering and analysis; facilitating options identification and assessment and supporting the development of 'to be' operating models.

*You will work alongside database analysts and data scientists who will develop uses of our data, including statistical models, that can revolutionise business processes.

*You will support service managers to implement change arising from these uses of data delivered by the DW and BI team, and track business benefits including savings.

*You will communicate models to senior management and members to effect change across the organisation.

*You will manage relationships with key stakeholders at project level including elected Members and Board level Directors.

Experience Required

*Significant experience of business change projects from analysis through to implementation.

*Experience of leading on and conducting process redesign to achieve savings.

*Degree level education or equivalent professional experience, ideally in a relevant field.

*Qualified in business analysis and process redesign techniques and methodologies.

*Knowledge of local government or other public sector environment

*Strong analytical skills with an ability to gather and analyse complex information from a range of sources, understand the business context, extract key points and draw conclusions to make recommendations

*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

*High level of business intelligence skills, and ability to develop data analysis into organisational solutions.

Desirable

Knowledge of predictive data analysis and their successful implementation.
