1st / 2nd Line Support - City of London - Perm - £35k - £40k Per Annum.

The Company

An experienced Technical Support Engineer with strong 1st and 2nd line support is required by a Global provider of financial technology services.

The Role

This position will provide 1st line support to users worldwide and be the key contact for all IT support for all London and European based staff.

Responsibilities

*You will monitor and manage progress of ticket and ensures updates provided according to set SLA.

*You will troubleshoot technical challenges faced by users involving different OS, Browsers, 3rd party software's.

*You will ensures proper documentation for cases handled and technical knowledge base is current and accurate.

*You will be responsible for all IT related topics for the UK and Europe.

*You will support and maintain all IT infrastructure, hardware and software.

*You will be responsible for technical on and off boarding of staff.

Experience Required

*Experience in providing 1st line technical support to external users.

*Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and related issues e.g. white-listing.

*Good knowledge of the operating systems and relevant hard or software.

*PC proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and current web-related technologies.

*Understanding of browsers, firewall, antivirus and other network related components.

*Configuration of Networks and Servers.

*Active Directory administration, Antivirus and Office 365 experience.
