They are now looking for an Electrical and Electronic Engineer to support their vehicle and powertrain development projects.

Your Role 

As an Electrical and Electronic Engineer, you will be tasked with taking part in an array of projects that will support the development of our client's innovative vehicle. 

Specifically, you will integrate electrical and electronic systems within vehicle and powertrain projects and complete a range of associate design activities for both flight ready and experimental systems. 

Your role will also involve: 

- Supporting testing activities 
- Analysing and interpreting text and simulation data 
- Assisting in the manufacture and testing of prototypes 
- Delivering highly integrated design solutions in collaboration with other internal engineering functions 
- Creating technical documentation 

About You 

To be considered as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer, you will need: 

- Experience in an electrical engineering role 
- Experience of building, commissioning and testing electrical and/or electronic systems 
- A strong understanding of fundamental electrical power engineering principles 
- Proficiency in interpreting equipment and component datasheets to make justified selections in a systems context 
- To be competent in the use of electrical and/or electronic test and measurement equipment 
- The ability to interpret, modify and create wiring diagrams and circuit schematics 
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in avionics, electrical or electronic engineering or a similar discipline 

Experience of integrating electrical and electronic components, equipment and sub-systems within a larger system would be beneficial to your application. Experience of using MATLAB/Simulink for data analysis, modelling and simulation would also be advantageous. 

Experience of safe working with hazardous voltages, particularly DC systems above 120 V would be equally desirable. 

Other organisations may call this role Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Electronic Design Engineer, Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer, Electrical Design and Commissioning Engineer, or Electronic Equipment Engineer.
