Audio Visual Technician 5 months Southampton

My client, a multinational technology company is looking for a Audio Visual Technician to join them work with a new Global customer account, on a 5 month contract based in Southampton

Role description:

The role itself encompasses managing AV service, fault calls, service requests and planned changes, VOIP telephony support, High level AV support, VIP Support, Smart-Hands support and manning the BAT 'TechDeck' - an in house equivalent to Connect IT.(PC/Laptop builds, OS configuration, AD administration, some hardware repair) BAT have recently migrated their estate to Windows 10 so some familiarity with supporting this OS will be desirable.This position will require an engineer capable of building key relationships with end users, including VIP/Executives/Senior Management and their support staff.Call management will progress onto OSM-Q from the current Cherwell system used currently.Some project work may be required and also some flexibility to attend local sites in London area.Essential skills:AV knowledge and experienceStrong organisational and admin skills.Attention to detailDeskside capabilitiesStock controlOffice 365Skills Preferred:Windows 10 experienceStock controlDocumentation creation
