Finance Change Manager
City of London
£80000 - £90000 per annum
A leading Lloyds Market Insurer in the City of London is looking to hire a Finance Change Manager to act as the interface for the Finance team and the wider business to understand and coordinate the impact of change on Finance.
- Loyds / London Market experience required
- Worked within a Finance change capacity
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Act as the key liaison for Finance
* Provide project management expertise for new solutions
* Work closely with the Head of Finance Change to establish project management best practice, reporting tools, governance structure, project plans, requirements documents and project updates
* Ensure projects have the required project governance and reporting
* Oversee test plans, planning, prioritising and managing results
* Support the interaction with stakeholders across the business to ensure the impacts and processes are understood
* Liaise with BI, IT teams and all teams within finance to ensure data requirements are captured and leveraged from one or more of these sources
* Define, capture and design business requirements and processes
* Ensure the design captures all the key elements of the business requirements
* Manage and coordinate business and system change decisions - including impact assessments
* Work with business process owners to understand current state and define the common business process for the future
* Provide support and knowledge sharing within the team
* Ensure effective communication channels exist between Finance and other teams, in particular IT & BI
* Define objectives for projects in line with International Financial objectives
Skills and Experience:
* Experience of working as a finance Business Analyst or Project Manager and managing/implementing change into finance functions
* Strong people and communication skills - needs to be able to engage with staff at all levels and build strong relationships to influence and deliver results
* Solution focused
* Methodical approach to problem solving and decision making
* Desirable experience in Prince2 or APM methodology
* In-depth understanding of the London Insurance Market (Loyds and company market perspective)
