JavaScript DeveloperLocation: Elstree Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experienceI am working in partnership with an enterprise consultancy firm based in Elstree who are looking to expand their frontend development function with the addition of a JavaScript Developer. They are an established organisation, providing a range of services to over 300 clients around the world. The organisation are focused on communications software and use cutting edge technology in a range of regulated industries. What are they looking for?They are looking for more of a JavaScript Developer than a web designer. You will specialise in bringing the traditional power of desktop applications into the online environment, creating rich web applications. While comfortably working directly in JavaScript, you will also have wide knowledge of various libraries and tools which you can bring to the table. You're passionate about your work and always keep a close eye on developments in the JavaScript community.You know there's a big difference between code that only just works versus "clean" code that is well structured and maintainable - and you'll want to deliver the latter. You will also be comfortable discussing requirements with the product management team, putting your own ideas out there and engaging constructively.The back end is Java, so if you have skills in that area, or want to gain them, then that would be advantageous.Primary Skills:JavaScriptUnit TestingTeamworkAbility to learn quicklyAdvantageous skills:JQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap.
