Money Advice Trust provides free information, advice and resources to help people successfully manage their finances. With demand for money advice consistently outstripping supply, finding more efficient ways of helping people is at the heart of our work.
We are now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical expertise and support our current IT and telephony infrastructure.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for IT and telephony services for around 200 users at the Money Advice Trust
- Fulfil day-to-day operational support needs for the existing infrastructure services and the associated users
- Support projects the are related to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services
- Act as the technical expert for the management, implementation, administration, documentation, support and maintenance of all hardware, software, desktops, servers, mobile and network products within the infrastructure environment
- Take the lead in the delivery of the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects
- Oversee our multi-site network
Interested? To be considered, you will need:
- At least four years' IT support related work experience
- Familiarity with ITIL Service Management and Project Management methodologies
- Proven and demonstrable experience in developing and supporting IT infrastructure including networks, security and hardware
- Strong knowledge of local area and wide area network administration
- Experience in network topology technologies and administration of multiple sites
Your will also need a working knowledge of the following:
- VMware vSphere 6, ESX or ESXi 6
- Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp 7.6
- Citrix NetScaler
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 or 2012
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Microsoft Exchange 2010
- Microsoft TMG Forefront
- Microsoft Windows XP, 7 or 10
- Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 or 2010
- Microsoft SQL 2005, 2008, 2012 or 2014
- SAN Hardware management and/or support
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP switching and routing
- Backup technologies such as Veeam and Symantec Backup Exec
- Disaster recovery management
