One trip every few weeks to the main office located in west midlands may be required for training and meetings. As a Analytics Consultant you will report to the Analytics Director giving your impact on important decisions. However on a daily basis you will be managed by the Lead Public Sector Analytics Consultant for each project, helping assist with decision making and project development.As an analytic consultant you must have be able to pay attention to detail and have the confidence to object and quarry any errors that you have identified. Excellent communication skills are key, you will be dealing with stakeholders and representing the company.You must be confident when it comes to handling large data sets, analysing for insights and have the ability to translate the findings into data models and visualisations using Microsoft Power BI or have experience using similar tools.Experience/skills preferredMicrosoft Power BIExtracting/querying data from Data Warehouses/Data MartsSQL and PSQLPythonStatistical techniquesPredictive analytics (techniques and solutions such as Azure Machine Learning)Experience working within the public sectorAdvanced analytical skills in more than one data modelling tools, with initial working knowledge of Microsoft Power BIThe ability to build effective data models and data visualisations for use of business, for instance strategic leaders, operational managers and customers If this role appeals to you or you want to find out more please contact me on 0191 814 7804 or email your CV to [email protected]
