This role is responsible for project management for current, new and future products within the Research and Development team. The Client are a cutting edge specialist Medical Device manufacturer based in Birmingham. Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesProvides a single point of contact per project.Ensure cross functional stakeholders are engaged, interests are covered and issues resolved.Conduct robust Research in to products and Markets to bolster Business Cases.Deliver Business cases to senior management.Drive/ Support Engineering team on delivery, timing, cost, Issue Management, quality, Testing, etc.Drive innovation projects into delivery.Drive Engineering process improvement.Manage and Conduct Robust Product Testing Plans.Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential:Previous experience within Engineering and programme planning.Experience within the Medical Device IndustryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processesDegree or relevant equivalent experience preferred Desirable:Previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environmentStrong project management experience Personal Profile Essential:Strong project management capabilities with excellent execution skills and the ability to multitask.Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills - able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style Desirable:Resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputsA dynamic and determined individual, committed and results-orientated with significant energy and confidence.Able to deliver quality and consistency with a range of expectations on what customer-focussed solutions might look like.
