Desktop Engineer - 12 month FTC - £25-30,000 - Bolton

Nigel Frank is working with one of its most trusted clients in the north west to bring on a skilled Desktop Engineer to help initially on a fixed term basis. This is a role that will offer a lot of variety in the work involved and promises to offer a great experience for people who are looking to further their career.

You will sit in the service operations team and will be responsible for the 2nd and 3rd line troubleshooting whilst also working closely with other departments. You will need to be able to balance your priorities and be willing to tackle any problems you face. Duties will include: dealing with user responses quickly and efficiently, network patching, responding to tickets and 2nd line incidents. You will be working predominantly in the Bolton area, occasionally travelling to provide support where necessary.

Required

- Previous experience in an IT role

- Experience supporting a Windows environment and Microsoft Desktop appliations

- Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server

- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work in a team

- Keen to solve problems

- Committed attitude
