INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION ARCHITECT

Our client a leading information technology solutions organisation is looking for a number of experienced of Infrastructure Solution Architects to join their team and support their end clients based in Dublin City and Shannon

Infrastructure Solution Architect KEY Responsibilities:

* Delivering end to end infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers that involve carrying out assessment of infrastructure component, problem definition, requirement gathering, planning/designing, implementing solutions along with cost and resource estimation.

* Defining the infrastructure design of new IT systems, including high level and detailed design planning and/or reviews for selected clients.

* Participate in Infrastructure bid to draft technical responses and formulate Profit & Loss statements for Account/Bid Managers

Infrastructure Solution Architect KEY Performance Indicators:

* Demonstrably operates as the overall infrastructure CSA for large, complex solutions.

* Regularly has large, complex designs, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant business approval review, without any requirement for design changes.

* Authors design and test documents for large, complex infrastructures, whose risk and cost elements are accepted by the overall CSA or PM.

* Can evidence regular contributions to customer forums, conferences and professional bodies.

* Tangible recognition from customers and/or Fujitsu sales of being a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu.

* Using company prescribed methodologies, can demonstrate a contribution to the definition of customer overall IT architecture, including new solutions of significant size and complexity and which contain solution components from contributing specialists.

* Regular contribution to, and user of, company knowledge repositories and events.

Infrastructure Solution Architect KEY Requirements:

* Hands on architecture experience with a proven track-record in implementing large scale infrastructure environments

* Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application-types, and systems engineering

* Proven ability to deliver solutions for programmes/project/s balancing time, cost and quality.

* High level knowledge of the end to end project lifecycle.

* Experience working on large or complex assignments within a large-scale organisation.

* Experience providing specialist business and technical expertise to solve business problems or to exploit opportunities.

* Breadth of knowledge of technical platforms.

* Excellent Decision-making skills

* Individual must have excellent communication and written skills and should have experience interacting with key client stakeholders

* Possesses the ability to make critical business recommendations.

* Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business.

* Strong track record of building and maintaining lasting relationships.

* Dell EMC and Solaris experience is highly advantageous but not essential
