About you: You are a vibrant, enthusiastic and articulate developer with a passion for delivering practical solutions for your customers. Operating in a fast paced role, you are a self-starter, possessing strong interpersonal & communication skills and have a tenacious problem-solving mentality. A willingness and ability to learn; you must have a flexible and hardworking attitude with a determination to deliver projects on time; whilst maintaining a focus on a client's requirements and quality.
You are comfortable analysing customer requirements, proposing solutions, developing the implementation using SQL & .Net. You can also engage with customers on user acceptance testing and providing on-going high level technical support. Day-to-day, you will:
Meet, review and discuss requirements with customers and propose practical solutions to integrate Access software with third party solutions, customise and provide enhancements to create bespoke solutions
Create specifications and provide estimates to deliver the agreed solution
Develop custom solutions using Transact SQL, .Net C#/VB and our in-house Workflow Forms tool that allows development of custom web solutions
Source code changes to tailor and extend our existing software to a client's specific requirements.
As a well-rounded Development Services Technical Consultant, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
Excellent SQL Server and Transact SQL skills
Experience of creating customer facing documentation
Good knowledge of VB.Net or C#.Net
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills with a friendly can-do attitude
