SAP Basis Lead

Do you want to work at the forefront of innovation, in a fast paced, cutting edge and challenging environment in Woking? Working as a SAP Business Lead, you will be responsible for leading the SAP Basis & Security teams, co-ordinating the deliverables in alignment with corporate direction & project requirements. You'll ensure operational stability & SAP solutions are maintained and the SAP technical architecture is fit for purpose. This could be with tools like Solution Manager, Process improvements or technical infrastructure changes, whilst being the contact & escalation point for 'deep dive' technical analysis

Your role will include:

- Assisting in the SAP technical strategy, solutions and road map, ensuring it meets business requirements.

- Ensuring the SAP user security solution is optimally configured and aligned.

- Overseeing SAP development landscape - Both technologies & processes.

- Ensuring SAP Platform stability and driving strategy to maximum effectiveness.

- Ensuring the following standards are followed: SAP Transport / Configuration Processes, SAP Release Management Process, SAP Landscape diagrams, ITIL processes, etc.

Essential Experience:

- ECC and at least one of the following: EP, BW, CRM, SRM

- SAP accredited

- SAP Solution Manager (7.2) including Monitoring and BPM Configuration setup

- SAP HANA/In Memory Computing

- SAP system: Installations and upgrades, Performance tuning, Correction and Transport Systems, Patching strategies, HR ESS & MSS Setup, etc.

- Single Sign On, CUA, LDAP-AD Integration etc.

- Broad knowledge of IT & Cloud infrastructure, highly available systems, operating systems, databases, disaster recovery etc.

Outside of this, you'll be organised, proactive & resilient with a collaborative approach and the ability to gain credibility and respect with senior stakeholders.
