Position: Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £40000 - £45000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Principal Infrastructure Engineer to head up our Civils Team. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience with knowledge of Highways and Drainage design, and competence of Sections 104, 278 and 38.
We are seeking a self motivated Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Team who has dedication and relishes the challenge of a demanding and varied workload.
About the position
The Team already has a well developed client base and the successful candidate will be expected to maintain the existing client base as well as generate new clients and areas of work.
About the candidate we are seeking
The candidate we are seeking will likely be working towards or achieved Chartership or Incorporation with 3 or 4 years relevant experience. You should have experience of a range of different sized civil engineering infrastructure projects up to a value of around £5m.
Experience required
o Computer analysis including use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Flow and PDS
o roads and drainage design, with a proven background within development infrastructure schemes working to DMRB standards
o report writing
o Working in a busy and professional design office and operating with best practice to provide solutions for clients that are on budget and to programme.
o Competence with Sections 278, 38 and 104 submissions
o Reason for the role-
o We are looking for leaders now, who are coming in qualified to help and manage our civils team. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience with knowledge of Highways and Drainage design, and competence of Sections 104, 278 and 38.
Three top requirements
o At least Civil Engineering degree qualified, preferable CEng MICE
o Highways and Drainage Design and Detailing Experience with a Consulting Engineer (not Local Authority)
o Experience of PDS/ AutoCAD software and of Section s38, s278, s102, s104, s106 agreements
