Your Responsibilities: In collaboration with the rest of the team, define, maintain, document and execute web based, test cases to drive the quality of the product forwards with each new releaseAssessment of requirements and deriving of appropriate test scenarios to provide optimal and efficient test coverageCollaboration with the team in continuously enhancing QA processesIdentification of defects followed by clear and concise reporting of such issuesStrong assessment and effort estimation skills with respect to team deliverables and particularly QA aspectsWork closely alongside product managers, developers, etc. to ensure the quality of all requirements are suitably met whilst delivered on-time and to-specificationMaintenance and continuous enhancement of automated test collateral in an ever-evolving product environmentEssential Skills:QA knowledge over 3yrsExtensive knowledge of web-based applicationsStrong knowledge of Agile QA practices, and working with teams using Scrum/KanbanSoftware testing certification e.g. ISTQB or equivalentBoth hands on automation knowledge and possess strong conceptual knowledge of automation frameworksUsing tools to automate desktop softwareKnowledge in extracting test scenarios, devising test cases and automating these using a range of techniquesPassion and drive for test automation and associated toolsetsProgramming and knowledge of Javascript
Desirable BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related disciplineSQL Server queryAble to interpret and work with XML/JSONknowledge with Ansible software platform and application for management of virtual machine-based environmentsKnowledge in working with teams using BDD or TDDKnowledge with participation in agile planning, sprinting and reviews
