Software Developer (Java 8 AWS Scala Kotlin Node TDD). Want to work in an open, collaborative environment where learning and personal development are key and there's a strong pipeline of Greenfield projects as well as flexible working?

Joining an Agile TDD team that cares about code quality as a Software Developer you will design and develop the core platform for a market leading software house that provide a suite of smart voice services to a variety of clients ranging from investment banks to the emergency services. You'll be using Java 8 and will gain exposure to AWS, Scala, Kotlin and Node. As a senior member of the team you will promote software engineering best practice via Pair Programming, talks and presentations within your team.

You'll be based in Central London, within a friendly team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, close collaboration and regular company wide hack-a-thons.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java development experience

*Advocate of Agile development using Test Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, refactoring

*Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithm design, SOLID design principles

*Advocate of automation wherever possible, familiar with CI/CD environments

*Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills

*Desirable: familiar with microservices architecture, Scala, Kotlin, Node
