My client is at the forefront of new edge computing technology and they are seeking a segment marketing manager, with experience of industrial IOT, to join them. You will have experience of IOT, Smart Buildings or Smart Cities and will be able to know the market well enough to proposition this new, exciting technology. Ideally based in the South-West near Bath or Bristol.

Requirements:

· Relevant industry degree, or equivalent, in either engineering or computing.

· Proven experience of working within Industrial IOT, Smart Cities or Smart Buildings with strong industry knowledge.

· Demonstrated ability in launching new technology products within this industrial sector.

· Experience of creating compelling positioning and marketing content for new products.

· Clear communicator and able to work in a small, and hands-on, environment.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct competitive analysis and understand clearly the industry trends and drivers for IOT, Edge Computing and Cloud Computing.

· Join customer and partner meetings to gather requirements and present the edge computing solution as a technology alternative across various sectors.

· Develop marketing collateral and ensure it is audience-specific with compelling messages and tools.

· Build good rapport with partners and grow those relationships.

· Be able to travel on a global scale.
