My client, a large electronics company based in West London, is urgently seeking a seasoned SQL Server Developer to re-architect an in-house system. This is expected to be a 12-month contract role. You should ideally be immediately available or on a maximum of 2 week's notice.
The main areas of attention will be within big data SQL Development where you will redesign, redevelop and build a relational database with SQL Server, and build SSIS and SSRS packages for database ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and reporting purposes.
You will have full licence to redesign and develop in accordance to the pre-defined business requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as you will be working with Senior Stakeholders across EMEA.
Key Skills
* Extensive SQL Server expertise
* Extensive experience of C# and tuning SQL
* Extensive knowledge of SSIS Solutions
* Experience of SSRS is desirable
* Ability to set up Agile Methodologies
* Experience of reporting suites such as Tableau, Qlikview or Windows BI
