Graduate Java Developer required to join growing company working on software products and solutions used by customers in the defence, government and utilities industries. This Graduate Java Developer role requires a hands-on software engineer with a degree in engineering or computer science. You join a team working on applications to present large amounts of data for clients.

Experience with ANY of the following technologies would be of interest - Java / J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, SQL Server, Angular2, JUnit - training can be given to the right person. Candidates with a background in web development or software engineering would be of real interest, ideally with some years commercial experience following a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering or similar. Candidates who did a placement year as part of their studies would be of particular interest. For this Graduate Java Developer role you will need strong communication skills both written and verbal, an interest in new technologies and willingness to learn new skills. You will be trained in the full development lifecycle in this Graduate Java Developer role.

This graduate Java Developer will join a well-established company working on award winning products and solutions working in an agile environment. Experience of writing automate unit and end to end tests in Jasmine, Selenium or similar would be an advantage, as would experience working with software such as Visual Studio, JIRA and GIT. Junior Java Developers or recent graduates will be considered if you have demonstrable experience in developing Java applications and very strong coding skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

This role is based in Horsham, commutable from East and West Sussex, and parts of Surrey and South West London. An attractive salary and benefits package is on offer to candidates.
