Systems Engineer - SC Clearance, QEC Mission System, Def Stan 21-88 and NCSISS processes/approach.

This role requires SC clearance, you must be eligible and willing to undergo the SC process in order to obtain the role.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for:

* Application of systems engineering approach and execution of key systems engineering activities with limited supervision

* Eliciting requirements, understanding them, and addressing their satisfaction

* Scheming overall system solutions in satisfaction of requirements and constraints

* Undertakes integration, test and acceptance activities within a systems engineering context with limited supervision

* Identifying and addressing through-life (e.g. support) considerations

* Engaging with customers, other stakeholders, and suppliers on technical issues

* Working as part of a technical team in support of project objectives

* Production of technical documentation in support of work carried out

* Delivers work and reports on progress to more senior technical and project staff

* Escalates significant problems and issues encountered with senior technical and project staff

* Provides support to decision management

* Plans and structures own work under direction of project leads

Experience and qualifications:

1. Degree Level qualification or equivalent

2. IEng or equivalent

3. 4 - 7 years plus relevant experience in systems engineering or engineering

Particular skills/experience required:

1. Knowledge of QEC mission system - advice side activity

2. QEC design documentation system

3. System design/evolution

4. Knowledge of integration, test and acceptance activities

5. Def Stan 21-88 and NCSISS processes/approach (desirable)
