Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer, ManchesterOne of the UKs largest financial companys are looking to add to their DevOps team due to a prolonged period of growth. Reporting to the DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for establishing the processes and behaviours that will help develop the team into a mature DevOps function.
**This role is perfect for someone who has a strong infrastructure background and is now interested in moving into the DevOps arena.**
They are a fast moving company and the technology department is delivering a rapid programme of change so you will join the journey towards continuous integration and assist in taking it further.
The Role:
Supporting current release processesWorking with the Dev team towards automated test, build and release processesEstablish config management processesProblem management and root cause analysisAttend and contribute to Sprint meetingsDelivery of DevOps improvement initiativesThe Skills needed:
Extensive background in Windows (2008-2016) and Linux (RedHat/CentOS) Server adminDatabase language knowledge - SQL, MySQL, MongoDBKnowledge of at least one of the following - NetApp, VMware, CloudChange and release framework understandingAutomated build and deploy, or testingDESIRABLE - Exposure to Puppet/Jenkins/Ansible/SaltStack/ChefDESIRABLE - Scripting - Bash, Python, PowerShellThe Package:
