Software Developer | North London | 250 - 400 / Day | 3 : 6 Months+

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for experienced Software Developers for our key client; a leading utilities provider based in North London.

As Software Developer you will join the systems development team in the planning, development and testing of their OnTrack system and associated applications.

We are looking for Developers with experience of both front & back end web application technologies: PHP/PHP5 (OOP), JavaScript frameworks (Angular (2+), Node JS, Express) and MySQL with extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS.

++ Senior Developers with extensive PHP, Apache2 Configuration & Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge can expect a salary / rate towards the higher end of the scale ++

THE ESSENTIALS:

As Software Developer, you will work closely with the Systems Architect and other technical team members to develop applications, system requirements and specifications.

Software Developers with solid experience of JavaScript Frameworks (Angular / Node.JS / Express) and similar toolsets coupled with advanced knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, PHP) should apply TODAY.

If you have experience of relational databases in MySQL and working knowledge of Source Code Management tool (Git) coupled with an ability to create and integrate Web APIs (RESTful and SOAP) then wed like to hear from you!

You will also work with QA Testers and Business Analysts to quality-check developed applications and use Jira to manage work as part of a Scrum / Agile methodology

THE ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Youll be highly sought after if you can provide System and iOS App support to business and customer end-users when required, and occasionally liaise with internal IT; co-ordinating issues through to resolution.

THE DESIRABLES:

If you have working knowledge or exposure to PHP (ideally Symfony / Doctrine 1 / 2) or have experience of AWS (Amazon Web Services), coupled with experience working in Unix / Linux environments and/or with knowledge of IT networking then you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
