Credit Execution Trader

London

A prestigious macro hedge fund based in the city are looking to bring on an Execution Trader.

As a part of the trade execution team youll be responsible for executing all trades within the organisation, covering mainly credit products. You will be directly involved in monitoring and maintaining hedging levels across our strategies daily as well as the general execution and monitoring hereof. Due to the fast-paced nature of the tasks, the job and the industry, it is often necessary to develop tools to assist in improving processes, speed and efficiency. The trade execution team has a central role in the organisation by implementing the investment decisions as well as being central in the communication between the portfolio managers, analysts, operations and business development.

Responsibilities will include:

* Trade execution across strategies and instruments.

* Ensuring correct hedging levels on credit products.

* Daily pricing of all portfolio and benchmark holdings to ensure correct performance and risk measurement.

* Together with Risk & Analytics and Operations ensure we have correct data on all instruments and funds.

Qualifications:

* A strong technical background with an academic degree.

* Several years of relevant experience from a relevant position within asset management, fund management or Markets.

The candidate we are looking for has a solid knowledge of financial instruments and understand work flows across execution, settlement, hedging and fund management.
