IT Risk Specialist

Joining a global business, One of the largest in financial services, you will be a key part of the IT Risk team, covering all of the UK. The primary purpose of the role is to assist the organisations platforms Head of Risk, using specialist technical knowledge and experience to support the first line to effectively identify, quantify and manage the organisations IT Risk profile, as well as ensuring operation of a robust IT risk control infrastructure. This is a 2nd line risk role and will be a key contact with the CIO, IT and Group Risk.

Experience required:

* Great understanding and a high level of experience in IT and risk management within the financial services industry.

* Experience and knowledge of the key IT Management processes and associated IT risks and general controls within major financial services firms.

* Experience of applying relevant ISO standards in assessing the managing IT risk.

* Understanding of operational risk from an IT Management perspective in major financial services firms.

* Previous experience in Operational Risk or Internal Audit within a financial services environment.

* Would suit an IT auditor looking to move into a second line role.

It is a 6 month contract with a view to extend, and an extremely competitive day rate.
