Java Developer (Multi-threading Agile Low Latency UNIX Linux AKKA). Leading financial software house that provides real-time web connectivity market data and trading services to financial institutions is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. You'll be designing and developing back-ends that connect to financial pricing, trading and entitlement systems to distribute the data over the internet to HTML5 trading clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to progress your career as you will receive continuous training and mentoring and gain exposure to financial trading systems.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java development skills

*Advocate of Agile methodologies

*Previous experience building multi-threaded, low latency and performance critical applications

*Familiar with UNIX / Linux

*Excellent communication skills

*Desirable: AKKA, Kotlin, Scala, Groovy
