Software Engineer - Linux, C / C++

Leeds (Not City Centre)

£40,000 - £50,000 + excellent benefits

Spring Technology are seeking a Software Engineer (C / C++ , Linux) for our market leading client based on the outskirts of Leeds.

As the Software Engineer you will be working on building Operating Systems for niche telecommunications and electro-optics which are used in a range of environments.

Within the role you will be responsible for:

*Developing OS's with Linux

* Using a variety of technologies to interact with other products and platforms

* Working with a team of dedicated software developers

The ideal candidate will have the following:

*Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject

*2+ years C / C++ experience

*Current Linux experience 4.x + Kernel

* Building Linux for ARM64 based architectures

*Driver integration

* gstreamer integration/plugin development

* Linux Kernel Debugging and test (desirable)

* NVIDIA Jetson (TX2) development (Desirable)

* NVIDIA DIGITs development (Desirable)

* Python (Desirable)

* Experience of working with 3rd party software developers (desirable)
