**Business Analyst - Anaplan - Contract - London**

The Anaplan Business Analyst role will involve working within the project delivery team as an Anaplan Model Builder. The ideal candidate will have meaningful prior experience in Model Building on Anaplan, and has experience working within a Finance function on Business Planning processes. The candidate will have exposure to, and be expected to support the main duties of a Business Analyst, tailored to the specific requirements and nature of an Anaplan Model Building delivery, which includes:

* Working in close collaboration, in a strong joined-up team delivery culture, with the Finance SME product owner, project manager, external consultant and any other relevant stakeholders to deliver a successful implementation, testing, go-live and user adoption/training

* Working in an agile project delivery environment, including sprint deliveries, preparing for and presenting showcases to business stakeholders, retrospectives, etc.

* Engaging with relevant business stakeholders to elicit, prioritise and document requirements and training documents to a high level of quality

* Being comfortable with driving and challenging business and project delivery team stakeholders on requirements to identify true underlying needs, and the ability to identify and manage nice-to-have expectations

* Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information and distinguish user requests, during Model Building and through UAT and release

* Serving as the conduit between the business (internal and external customers) and the IT function where appropriate

* Proactively managing workload and any competing priorities, taking appropriate action to address potential issues that could impact delivery

Experience / Skills:

* 2 years+ business experience working within a Finance function

* Clear examples, which can be referenced on request, of meaningful Anaplan Model Builder delivery experience, such that the candidate can hit the ground running in the role

* Broad understanding of business analysis principles and experience with documenting requirements and presenting concepts to different user communities/stakeholder

* Experience of working in an agile delivery project/environment would beneficial but not essential
