Interaction Recruitment are now recruiting for a Technical Consultant for an industry leading Technology Service provider in the North West. Our client is a premier VAR, supplying a number of desirable public and private clients with high quality technology. This allows them to excel at customer service and create strong links with their vendor led customers.
The role:
- Implementing new technical infrastructure to agreed deliverables /timescales
- Defining software, hardware and network requirements
- Analysing problems and making recommendations to solve these
- Preparing documentation and presenting progress to customers
- Post-consultancy project handover to the Support Team/customer
- Development and packaging of new technology systems and services
- Presales solution design
- You will gain industry qualifications from Microsoft
- Able to attend relevant training courses and expected to pass associated exams to maintain accreditations

Responsibilities:
- 3+ years in similar role including deployment of infrastructure solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in the deployment of infrastructure solutions - individually/key deliverer in team
Implementation experience required in at least three of these:
- Hyper-V or VMware
- Office365 and Exchange
- Active Directory
- Wired and wireless networking (Dell or Cisco)
Implementation experience preferred in:
- Shared Storage (Dell EMC EqualLogic, Compellent, Unity)
- VMware Horizon, Citirix, MS VDI
- Load Balancing/Application Publishing
- Veeam Backup and Disaster Recovery
