Excellent role on offer for an experienced area sales manager looking to work for a global market leading company, where you will be instrumental in managing all aspect of the sales process and prospecting new business across Berkshire and home counties.

This company are a global manufacturer and distributer, and are the world leader in a specialist plant sector. They design and manufacture their own products and are at the forefront of the latest technology. They have excellent reputation within the industry and are known to look after their staff. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to continue to grow and develop the companies handle on the market.

The role is selling a variety of small through to large scale paving and milling construction plant, such as rollers, diggers, dumpers, excavators and many more products. The role requires travel to drum up the relevant business so ideal location would be Berkshire.

In this role you will prospect new clients, and manage the complete sales process from start to finish.

To be considered you must have a proven track record in sales roles dealing with capital equipment of any kind, and heavy machinery/Plant is a distinct advantage.

The Role:

* Prospecting new clients

* Managing full sales process

* Covering the Berkshire and Home Counties area

* £40,000 OTE £55,000 + Commission + Vehicle + Pension + Benefits + Training

The Person:

* Sales track record

* Selling capital equipment

* Must live in or as close to Reading/Berkshire as possible
