Desktop Support Analyst

Marylebone

Up to £31,000 + Call Out

About the role

Here in Babcock International we're looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join us in our Marylebone Office. Working as part of our large IT team you'll assist the wider business by maintaining, supporting and implementing the desktop environments at a second line level. You will be charged with fault management and rectification across the infrastructure on a multiple site basis.

You will be providing this technical support, as well as technical documentation, within agreed SLA's and standards. Providing excellent customer service is extremely important, including providing regular updates to the end customer.

And as you're supporting our business we'll be supporting you. So as well as offering competitive benefits, on call remuneration, facilities and amenities - there will be full training provided to allow you to fulfil the role to the best of your ability.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to have a good background of second line technical support as well as knowledge of ITIL processes. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as experience with MS Windows, supporting mobiles devices and hardware queries. Due to the requirements of travelling to other sites, it's important you have a full driving licence and car.

What else do I need to know about the role?

* You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday-Friday

* There will be a requirement to participate in and support a rostered callout arrangement on a rotational basis (traditionally 1 in 7 weeks)
