SC Cleared Wintel Engineer to be based in Hook on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Wintel Engineer with SC Clearance with excellent experience on Windows Server, WSUS, Active Directory. Ideal candidate will hold SC Clearance or at minimum be eligible to obtain.
Job Title - SC Cleared Wintel Engineer
Location - Hook
Rate - 310 per day
Duration - 6 Months initial
Responsibilities include:
Liaise with the system engineers, Design Authority, Project Managers, and customers.
Progress reporting.
Managing the legacy and development support rigs.
Providing support to legacy system in respect of Microsoft software updates and patches.
Essential Skills:
In depth business and technical knowledge of current production system
Strong verbal communications - must be able to confidently and coherently talk at all levels; engineers through to customers. For example to capture design information, requirements, etc.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft OS (W2K3, W2K12, XP and W7), Active Directory, Microsoft Applications ( e.g. WSUS, Office 2K3/2K10, IE11, Outlook 2K10) and design impacts.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Lotus Domino, Lotus Sametime, VMware software.
